Dolly Parton's Imagination Library is a worldwide book gifting programme created to inspire a love of reading from an early age. Founded by singer, songwriter and philanthropist Dolly Parton in 1995, the programme now provides millions of free books to children across several countries, including the UK.
Each month, children enrolled in the programme receive a carefully selected book through the post at no cost to their family. The books are chosen by experts in early childhood development and literacy, ensuring they are age-appropriate and engaging for young readers.
